ISU Universidad provides access to online educational platforms, primarily through Moodle-based systems, including course materials, academic resources, assessments, communications, and other digital tools that support the learning process.
2. Eligibility
Our services are intended exclusively for enrolled students, faculty, administrative personnel, and authorized institutional partners. Unauthorized access or use of our platforms is strictly prohibited.
3. Account Registration
Users must register with accurate and complete information. Valid email addresses are required, and accounts are validated by the academic administration. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities under their accounts.
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use the services only for lawful academic purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Sending spam, unauthorized marketing, or unsolicited messages
- Harassing or impersonating others
- Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Violating academic integrity policies
All communications through our platforms—such as notifications, announcements, and reminders—are strictly transactional and linked to educational activity.
5. Email Communications
ISU Universidad uses secure third-party services (including Mailgun) to send automated, transactional emails to registered users. These emails may include:
- Enrollment confirmations
- Password reset links
- Assignment and forum notifications
- Academic announcements
- Course-related alerts and submissions
No marketing content is distributed via email. All recipients are part of our verified user base, and emails are triggered only by system activity within our learning platforms.
6. Privacy
Your data is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any interruptions in service, data loss, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control. Use of the services is at your own risk.
